Traits

You can pick up to 2 Traits when creating your character; although, you don't have to pick any if you don't want to. They provide benefits as well as drawbacks to change up your playstyle.


Mouth-breathing Brute (Req 7 Strength and <4 Int)

 -4 to all checks for Speech, Science, Tech, and Navigation Skills. Can’t upgrade Intellect. +4 STR


One with the Heg (can only be an Inner Hegemony Species) 

Receive -3 to speech checks with people on/from the Frontier. +3 to speech checks with people from the Inner Hegemony. Also deal extra Leveled Damaged to Frontier folk. But take extra leveled damage from Frontier Folk as well


Idiot Savant (Req. <3 Int) 

Science and Tech Mod is +4, you can't upgrade your intellect.


Bubbling Fury 

Have to roll an Adaptability check whenever a loud noise goes off outside of combat. For every point you get less than 20 your character will go into a rage for 1 turn attacking anyone nearby, but dealing an extra D6 of phy damage. Example: if I rolled a 7 I would be Enraged for 3 turns. Can be brought out of rage through a Psych check of 20.


Voidborn 

Get Advantage on STR, MNVR, and Agility checks when in a ship, space station, or Zero-G Environment. Disadvantage to the same when not in those environments.


Military Brat

Get +2 to a chosen weapon skill such as melee, throwing, brawling, small arms, long arms, or heavy arms. Roll at disadvantage except when wearing a military uniform.


Assisted Vision 

As long as you keep your original organic eyes: -1 perception without any kind of optical assister (glasses), +1 Perception with an optical assister


All or Nothing 

Crit success is now 19-20, but Crit fail is now 1-2


Spiritual

You get disadvantage to all Science checks, but once a day you can pray to add 1D20 to any roll.
